Scottfab Ltd operate using a fully implemented ISO 9001:2008 accreditation system which gives all of our clients the benefit and peace of mind of an independently audited quality assurance system which is operated throughout our company, from initial enquiry, throughout the installation programme to the final handover certificate.
 
Scottfab Ltd where founded in 2004 by Gary Scott and have been trading successfully for twelve years operating from our office and fabrication workshop facility located in Widnes.
 
At Scottfab Ltd we have a proven track record of working locally and on a nationwide basis, we have also completed two mainland European projects to date, one in Norway and the other in France.
 
The core activity of our business is the Thermal Insulation, across all temperature ranges including Cryogenic, of process pipework, inline fittings, equipment and Vessels.
 
We are also fully conversant with the insulation and cladding of ventilation and extract ductwork systems.
 
Our skilled and trained team of Thermal Insulation Engineers are familiar with all specifications of Insulation including the application of various metal sheeting including Aluminium, Galvanised, Stainless Steel, Plastisol Coated Steel etc.

We are also able to provide non-metal finishes to insulation, including Hard Setting Cement, Polyisobutylene sheeting, Non Solvent Based Mastics and all factory applied finishes i.e. Class O foil.
 
We have our own fully equipped Sheet Metal fabrication shop, from where we fabricate a full range of bespoke cladding to suit our client needs in a full range of metal finishes.
 
We also measure and fabricate our own insulated jackets to suit client needs.

American Air Filters Ltd. – Insulation and Cladding to Bag Filters and associated ducting at British Gypsum, Loughborough. Insulation and Cladding to Bag Filter fans and hoppers, Sauda Norway.
 
AI Process Systems – Complete Thermal Oil installation at Fujiseal Gillingham, new build BASF process plant in Swinton, Chilled Water vessels and pipework Broadstairs, Thermal Oil system in Leek Staffordshire.
 
Graham & Brown Ltd. – Insulation and Cladding to Babcock specification of New Thermal Oil installation at their Blackburn headquarters.
 
Solvay Interox Ltd – Insulation to new heat recovery plant at their Warrington facility, Insulation and cladding of two new Caustic Reactor vessels, Insulation and Cladding of new LP Steam, Demineralised Water and Towns Water pipework.
 
JET Eng. Ltd. – New Thermal Oil installation at Trafford Park, new Gussion tanker depot at Widnes, re-routed pipework at GE Betz Ditton.
 
Crown Paints – Major tank farm refurbishment works including Process Pipework.
 
Wavin Hepworth - On- going site refurbishment works at their Crow Edge facility, Sheffield including high temperature Kiln Ductwork and Insulation to 400 lin mtr LPHW system.
 
Key Integrated Services – Various fast track projects including High Street Banks, full insulation package to new Humberside Technology College and a prestigious London food factory.

In terms of the ability to undertake work of a particular value, we are at ease with contract values Circa £150,000, but would be well placed to complete work of a higher value subject to programme/man hour content.
 
Scottfab Ltd are available for new projects, remediation and shutdown works.
 
We provide a full Thermal Insulation service including surveys, design requirements, full electronic quotation and should it be required, a summary of rates for individual clients.
 
Scottfab also design and install electrical trace heating systems to provide frost protection or heat maintenance to the required temperature for process pipework.
